REGISTERED STUDENTS: NEXT STEPS

Students can select their courses via the AIM Student Portal and then select specific approved accommodations for each course. Accommodations can be customized by class. Students must request accommodations every semester; students are encouraged to request their accommodations at the beginning of the semester, but may do so at any time. It is important to remember that accommodations are not retroactive and that it is the student’s responsibility to select their accommodations each semester.

After selecting accommodations for each course, an email is sent to the course instructor with the student’s Accommodation Notification Letter. This email states that the student is registered with Accessibility and Testing and lists the approved accommodations.

Certain accommodations (testing, notetaking, alternative text) are accessed via the AIM Student Portal and must be arranged each semester. For more information, please see the Student Accommodations page and select the specific accommodation.
